I think the main difference (other than the name on the seat) is that the JCW seat isn't available in the US thru MINI.

Non-JCW is going to be cheaper...but it depends on if you want to still have airbags or not...it is an option for both seats(JCW/and non)...no matter what you will be paying more for the embossed name "John Cooper Works"...I don't know if there are any difference in materials though

JCW Seats

I just ran across this while looking for stuff. It's the drivers side for us, http://www.minisport.com/newmini/aca...0.420.668.html
I don't know if anyone has seen this but, I am guessing we could order from them unless we need a MINI number. They are 1339.99 w/shipping I think thats a better price than I have seen for the Recaro Sportser CS. Hope everyone likes this.

Hmm, when i do the conversion, £992.59 inc VAT, it's $1,997 USD.

VAT does not apply to the US. If you act as if you are going to buy them and go through the process the VAT is included until you say you are in the US and what state then it will dissapear. So, its the 1339.99 price.

That's 1339.99 GBP not $. 1339GBP is over $2600, no thanks.

not sure where you're getting your prices from, the site says £844.76 each, that's approx. $1683USD + shipping, you would need to contact them to confirm shipping costs, but it'll likely be pricey.

The benefit is that these include the side airbags & factory fit brackets.. bolt in, plug in, and go
