It's such a new car that I'm guessing nobody's done this yet, but I am curious: has anybody tweaked the paint job at all, whether that be the roof color, rear pillars or even the body? I've got a chocolate clubbie on order with a black roof/pillars, though I must say that the chocolate/silver roof is my absolute top choice from the front, but I just always find myself cringing at the silver 'halo' in the back when paired with the brown. I'm curious if perhaps I should have gone silver roof and custom painted the rear halo the body color. Anyway, just a shot in the dark here. ... Would it be absolutely ridiculous to some day paint the roof silver? Just thinking out loud.

 

It wouldn't be rediculous to paint the roof silver later on. I think the silver C pillars look better than black. I ordered mine in Astro Black with silver roof and of course the C pillars are silver. I also got the sport stripes.The stripes add more silver to the back making the C pillars less contrasting.

 

You could always get a vinyl wrap for your roof and/or rear pillars. That way it is easily reversible in the future.

I always thought a beige roof with stripes on the bonnet/rear doors would have looked GREAT on the HC. Especially with the beige leather interior.

 

We were considering a beige/cream colored bonnet stripe/roof as well, looked into it, there are few sites out there where you can order it and they can point your in the right direction for an installer, just not sure it is worth the $$ - though I think it would look GREAT on the HC as well. I think there is also a vendor that will get you mirror caps in any color you want as well.
