Barn Door Storage

So is anyone using the storage area in the barn doors for anything? Seems like it would rattle around and / or fall out when you open the doors. I figure someone is being more creative than me. Let the world know!

Will be making up a small cloth case to use as a medical kit for one side and unsure about the other side yet.

Well, Lord Covington is only four days old, but I'm likely going to talk with my hubby about keeping picnic items in there, wrapped inside a thin blanket, so as not to rattle about. I think they're the perfect size for a bottle of wine, too. (Emergency rations for those long rallys, of course!)

Kbliecher, grab an old towel or two and use it on the lowest level, sub-level2(spare tire section).
That'll stop rolling and muffle any sounds. I have a spray bottle and 4 towels buried down low. Micro rags are on sub-level1.

A new Clubman deserves new towels!

Indeed! I have the levels covered, but was wondering about inside the barn doors themselves....

Barn Door itself?
Towell, poo-poo paper, micro rags! No Rattle.

I keep my umbrella in the netting on the passenger footwell.

I wouldn't recommend that; they're not really big enough to hold bottles safely.

I use mine for cleaning stuff and spare bags that would otherwise be clutter.

I use the Barn Door storage for my Microfiber towels and my towel for the brake dust Of couse wrapped in a clean towel and neatly folded.
The towels don't rattle or make any noise.
Although the golf clubs do seem to rattle too much, I just crank up the tunes to hide the rattle.

Since my Clubman is my vehicle to take the dogs to the dog park, one door holds a towel to wipe off the mud/dirt and the other holds my whistle and their leads. They are bird dogs so the whistle is used for recall.

So far, on one side I keep a spray bottle of water wrapped in a microfiber towel for quick removal of bird poop and/or other emergency clean-ups. (The towel keeps the bottle from rattling around back there.) On the other side, I keep one of those re-useable tote bags like you take to the grocery store. All my other cleaning/emergency supplies are neatly hidden in the wonderful sub-floor storage.
