hey all, i search forum but cant find any...i just bought a aftermarket tailight setup but dun know how ot change it... how od i remove the whole old taillight from my 2005 MCS? i used my hands but cant feel anything to remove it...

anonye help me? thxs in advance

 

i try but there only a TINY opening when i remove the lining...i cant even reach inside.. mine is a MCS convertibele

 

Try this.

 

it's quite simple. remove the covers in the boot, and look for a 10mm nut on a longish bolt. Remove the bolt, then feel around for some clips on the far side of the light, after that, they pop out.

 

I had my taillights out recently in order to add trailer wiring and became annoyed that they were held in with locknuts. I now have a wingnut holding each of mine in. Makes them much easier to remove next time.
