Strut Bar Rubbing

I just installed a Racing Dynamics Strut Bar.. I love the way it looks, but it kinda lifts the back of my hood up a little. The airbox for the intake isnt the problem, it seems to be rubbing on the hood insulation. Is this a common thing? Remedies?

Follow the install instructions from M7.
Wrap the bar in plastic, soak the insulation with water and shut hood. I put a couple of phone books on the hood and let it sit over night. No more bulge.
