New member here.

Just wanted to say hello to everybody. Had mini about 3 weeks. It's amazing how much you can learn on these forums.

Question about member dues, do I have to wait until October to pay for next year, or can I pay the pro-rate and $24.00 at the same time?

Thanks,

Well he's 5 years old. Got him at Atlanta Mini, already had to take him to Century Mini last week for Clutch assembly and Flywheel. Feels like a new car now. I think everything on it is stock. Getting it Tinted thursday, black leather is hot.

yeah the clutches and flywheels are a drag. mine got a new clutch (not at the dealer) and the shop that did it said "Flywheel looks good", which it is not and I probably need to replace it now too, but it will be a DIY project.

Thats too bad, you have to take the engine and Clutch out to get to the flywheel I've been told.

Make sure you have your membership card on hand if you are purchasing from any of out partner vendors to get the discounted price. Other wise welcome to the club.

Hope to see you at the Greenville Meet N Eat on the 25th.

I'm getting my windows tinted thursday at Rogers Stereo. Wish I had my membership card in time. I've always got my windows tinted at automotive accents but decided to go with Rogers this time. $100 less. Hope thats not a bad decision.

I'm going to talk to the wife about it. She's coming back from Atlanta that day. I think I can make it though.

Welcome from the Prez. You can send in the remainder of this year and next years dues now. Thats what most people are doing. If where you are getting the tint accepts our 10% club discount most likely will take your word for it or have them contact Greenville chapter VP for verificatiion. Great to have you on board!

Welcome, fellow newbie! You'll love the tinting. I did the same thing and am amazed at the difference in internal temps.

No kidding, BlueS! I've lived here 20+ years, but this is the hottest June on record since I'v been here. Still can't escape the heat. I have a Oxygen Blue/White MINI. Not originally from S.C. Can you guess where I'm from? Something about Heaven and basketball ...

What is this membership card you speak of? Is that part of the Alliance Membership?

I was in Columbia for about 10 yrs. Went to USC and Midlands Tech. I enjoyed it when I was there but would not want to go back, to much traffic and hot. I do miss the lake (Irmo side). I'm not a big basketball fan but I will guess your from NY.
