Yes, the lake is nice. At least there's a breeze there. No, not NY ... NC. Go 'Heels! Grew up in Greenville, tho. Miss the climate up there. Downtown Gvl is beautiful. Anyway, welcome, again!

So far so good, can't roll down yet. I got carbon 27% all around and 18% on sun roof's. Service was very good, they drove me to and from work. It only took them about 2hrs. Rogers was about $140 less than automotive specialties. I got 10% off with (MINI Motoring Club).

Thanks BlueS for the info, did they ask you for a membership card as I haven't received mine yet?

also, if you can post some pics that would be great.

They did not ask for my membership card, I don't have mine yet either.
I'll take some pictures this weekend.

They can do the new mini's faster than mine, they have templates for your sun roof's. He had to do mine from scratch.

I just called Roger's Stereo for a price quote. When, I asked about the discount, I was told that they would not give the 10% discount!? Is there someone in particular that I need to speak to there at Roger's Stereo for the discount?

That beats mine by $30. Talk to a manager about the discount. I can't remember his name. I left his buisness card at home.

I did not read this right the first time, you mean $200 for five windows. 4 on sides and 1 in rear, right?

Well, thats the thing. I'm pretty sure I heard him say 200 for 2 windows. After that, I wasnt interested. To be very honest, the person I spoke to did not seem to care and probably didnt have a clue about the pricing either. I got bad vibes talking with this person. I will be taking my business elsewhere, even if I have to pay more.

Sorry to hear that, one bad employee can hurt a business. You should of talked to a manager, sometimes they don't know. Good service is very important to me also. The service I got was excellent(Antonio and the tech Rudy). There's not to many places in Greenville I would take my car, you have to look through your tint everyday. Automotive Accents is the other place I would go, they have done a good job on all my previous cars.

Welcome to the club, BlueS, these are some wild and crazy folks you're about to meet. As Jimmy Buffett said "We are the People Our Parents Warned us About," and they are all great.

I must have some bad karma. I just called Automotive Accents for a quote and they will not give the 10% M2C2 membership either.

FWIW - I did the drive to Charlotte and got mine tinted by Speed Styles. 5 Windows plus sunroof. No club discount but reasonable price and good work.

Maybe the Prez of M2C2 can check with the vendors that are giving the discounts and update the list.

At Roger's it's a Carbon Tint. No metal in it to interfear with electronics.

I actually don't know - I never even asked as it didn't matter to me.
