This topic was covered awhile back but I am not able to find the thread. Someone that works for Sunoco provided a great response I need to have a follow up conversation.
I went to my local Mobil station that has CAM 2 fuel, however its 110 Octane and its leaded!
The Sunoco person that answered my last inquiry said to get 96 octane but didn't mention anything about leaded petrol. Are you still out there or does anynme have any further info on this type of fuel?

Well, if it is leaded, it's no good for anything with a catalytic converter...

Lead used to be great for treating non-hardened valve-seats, but it will quickly plug-up a cat-con and make it useless. That's why it was all but eliminated from street usage. I thought it was only available in aviation fuel these days?

Thanks for the feedback about the Cam 2, yeah its used for racing fuel, very popular stuff. I wish I had known it was in town when I had my 1956 Austin Healey 100M. Oh well, I will leave the stuff alone!
