Closing in on 6th gear but want to stay in 5th

I'm closing in on 6th gear but as a proud R52 Cooper owner who only has five gears, I'd like to stay in 5th. Is there any way to make that happen?

Join NAM as a paying member and I believe you can choose what your tag reads.

Or, install a shift **** with a 6 speed pattern on it.

Hemiheaded18 has the right idea - join the NAM Alliance, and you can make your tag read whatever you'd like, including "5th Gear", regardless of how many posts you have.

(Makes me wonder if anyone has used Alliance membership to bump themselves *up* into a higher gear on their tagline?).
