Has anybody gotten a custom downpipe made for the Cooper S? I am in Vancouver, BC and am trying to locate someone that can make me a downpipe without the cats, just pipe. If you have a custom one please post the name of the shop that made it!

i think cats are gonna be required by law in most places unless you are tracking the car.

No one checks here unless its REALLY LOUD!! LOL.. My car is not loud enough and need more roar from the exhuast..

If you are looking for custom...I'd start with a reputable Muffler shop in your area.

I am having a full custom turbo back designed for my R56 in the coming weeks of summer. It most likely is going to be taken to market by my fabricator as they will be using my car as the R&D car. The downpipe WILL include a cat, and I garuntee you, it will satisfy your sound needs even with the cat. Plus you'll keep all the green folks on here happy .

If I were you, I would not have a muffler shop fabricate a downpipe for you. It's not really what they specialize in, and takes a little bit more planning than fabbing up a muffler or exhaust does. However, I'm sure they can fab up a cat-back exhaust for you for cheap...but get the downpipe elsewhere. The downpipe on mine will be fully designed using Auto-CAD and built to the highest standards and testing. There are already a couple other options on the market, search the drivetrain forum.

Both WMW and RMW seem like great options.
