Talked with my boss this morning, I can go , but need to take the laptop with me to run a couple of reports each morning, they don't take long, less than an hour.

 

I'm interested, looking into scheduling conflicts, time off, etc before I commit though. This sounds like a great opportunity to meet some fellow miniacs.

Luke - I don't know how I can thank you and Hendrick enough for doing this for us!

 

As it was explained to me, that we have done so much to enhance the image of the MINI community and our continued help with anything that needs to be done at Hendrick, New Car Show, Toys for Tots, Mini Motoring Hearts and just talking to customers and helping out when they are short handed or in a crunch. Hendrick also wants to do this, to let the Manufacture who sets this up know that Hendrick Dealerships are behind Mini Motoring Club of the Carolinas 100%

 

WOW is all I got to say!! what a way for the dealership to step up! We've been trying to put some stuff together locally for the stop here in Charleston, and I heard rumors the local Hendrick Dealership is plotting some sort of festivites for it. I just wish the wife and I could get the time off to go with yaz! I still plan on coming over to the party from work for at least a little while (been working on getting the paper involved, so maybe I can go and get paid! ).

 

Wow, all you lucky people. Wish I could make it. Had my first experience with Hendrick and they were tops.I guess this puts them over the top.

 

I talked to my boss, and he said he would double check the days, I MAY BE IN!!!

jlsg, to answer your question I just don't know but will talk with them tomorrow about it. I know we have quite a few that can't do it and are just going down to Charleston and meet up with us there and drive back. I will let you know ASAP.

 

I guess we're doing the whole Miami run so we'll only be in Charleston on Monday night. See ya there!
FYI,
I spoke with Adrian at MINI of Charleston and there's no event scheduled for Tuesday 6/17 in Charleston. Monday evening will have the only event scheduled. Only things happening Tuesday is the group continuing on North will depart in the morning and the Charlotte group will be heading home at that point.
Anyone wanting to join us is welcome. We'll be staying at the Quality Inn at Patriot's Point.

Thanks everyone for the quick response. We are going to shut the offer down as of tonight 31 May due to getting all the hotel and everyone registered. As for those wanting to do a partial you will be on your own. We would love it if some of you could come to Charleston SC and do the BBQ and spend the night and drive back with us the next day. I know this was a short notice and a great opportunity and just how hard it is for people to get off work. I use to do that myself and if I asked for time off, you'd think the whole damn place would shut down. We will keep everyone posted how the MTTS goes. Hey Luke just spotted your post.
Maybe I'll run into you guys/gals at MTTS-Miami or on the way back.
I am driving down to Miami with the Sunshine MINI's they are starting a caravan from Jacksonville down
to Miami on Friday morning at 7:45am and picking up other MINI groups on the way down.
If I understood your post correctly you are heading down on Thursday morning.. Does that mean you'll be
in Miami on Thursday or are you guys stopping anywhere for the night?
I only ask because if your trip has you coming into Miami on Friday then maybe we can meet as one large group entering Miami all at once.
In any case many of us are staying at the Travelodge in Florida City if your interested in meeting up with us for drinks or dinner at Gusto's.

P.S. I am leaving Greenville for Jacksonville on Thursday so if youre headed that way let me know and I'll join you for that part of the route at least.

Do we have a timetable setup for this yet? I've seen the info about the hotels but it doesn't seem to cover every night. I'm just curious, some would say a little obsessive. If I can help in any way just ask. I'm just happy to be coming along.
