We are getting our JCW Aero Kit installed today!

We picked up our new MCS last Thursday and scheduled the dealer to install the JCW Aero kit today (Wed). After trolling this board for months, it's finally nice to be officially part of the club! Sitting here at work is torture!

I just picked up the car and was wondering if there is supposed to be a little bit of a gap between the front bumper and wheel arch (fender)? The SA told me it was acceptable, but I wasn't too sure what was acceptable and what wasn't.

You really don't need two thread about the same issue. Pick on please and we'll close the other to keep the confusion level down.

how much did it cost? was the car repainted?

im thinking since my color is metallic it would be harder and more expensive to blend the paint.

I paid around $2100 for a pre-painted kit from the factory and about $350 for the install with a 15% discount because the correct mesh grill was packaged wrong. My advice would be to shop around dealers because they all don't charged the same thing.

I got mine done at East Bay Mini of Pleasanton, CA. They only charged me 2.5 hours of labor and cost approximately less than $2500 since it came prepainted.
