A couple of months ago the rear window washer started to "weap" washer fluid. I was told by dealer that this was quite normal for my MINI (R53). I find that statement curious as it didn't leak the first 2 yrs I had the car Anyone out there with similar problem and if so, what's the fix. Thanks -The Goose

 

Mine's an 03' and isn't broken, or doesn't "weap" take it make and tell them to fix it. That's crap.

Mine appears to be as well..I never see any fluid, but the paint just below the rear washer is gunked up. Just noticed it yesterday as I was washing.

 

To the best of my knowledge, every MINI I've ever worked on has drips in the paint around the washer nozzle. I'd say it's quite common.

 

It IS normal , and they have a recall on it ... They install check valves to prevent it ...

 

My 06 rear wiper only weeps when the MINI sits out in really hot weather.

 

My 05MC not only weeps out the rear washer but also on the hood. It has been doing it since before I got the car and has been an ongoing battle to get the stain off the hood. Seems to happen every time the car is driven. Does anyone have the recall # and to which years it applys?
