Greetings all, Just thought we'd see if there was any interest in getting the MINIs to the Colorado Renaissance Festival on June 14th. It's opening weekend and it's also buy one get one free on admission. We're looking at Saturday because we don't think we'll be around on Sunday.

My wife and I will be bringing our DSLRs to take pics as well so if you need any portraits or what not let us know and we can snap them and email them to you as long as we get to use them for our portfolio for the business we're trying to start. We won't sell them and we'll have model releases to protect both parties. You'll probably get pics back in about a week or two so it allows us enough time to post process it. The route we'd take up there Saturday will be 105 starting at Monument. There are a few twisties to play with on this route but not a huge amount like the Western Dragon. Well, usually I'd be on this like crazy. I go every year several times a year, some might even call me obsessed. This weekend just happens to fall on the same weekend as the Western Slope run, and myself and a handful of others will be far too far away to join you.

If you decide to go on another weekend, let us know. There's likely a chance that we'll already be going or can work it into our schedule.

 

We'll be coming up in July, hopefully in the MINI, to see the Foo Fighters at Red Rocks. We might check out the Colorado Renaissance Festival the weekend before or after. Thanks for the tip!

 

Sounds good. The 14th was just a tentative date and I picked it figuring people might want to save some money. We normally don't like going on opening weekend because of the crowds.

Well, it seems SPOON will be in the shop to see what gremlins are lurking inside so we won't be able t make it on the 14th. I'll probably post another thread for another attempt at the Ren Fest. I'm looking at maybe the Celtic weekend.
