Drivetrain stock exhaust rubber hanger removal
i've noticed several people commenting about these being difficult to remove.
i came up with an easy way during my recent work. (well, there also was that big black obelisk thing that appeared next to my bumper)
use a 3/16" square shank screwdriver (craftsman 41582 for me.) insert the screwdriver between the rubber and the hanger from the side opposite the free tip of the mounting post so that the flat tip of the screwdriver can just get a perch on the flat end of the mounting post.
lever open a crack and lube the rubber and the whole post.
then catch the end of the post with the flat blade tip and lever the rubber off.
