My recorded record of fuel efficenecy and cost/mile

Hello,

since i got the car i have tried to record every fill up and the distance i cover. Sometimes the data is corrupt so i miss that fill up, or somone like the dealer resets my trip.

All data was taken with the odometer, and the receipt from the pump, most of the time from the same pump since it is on the corner of the street. I even wait for the same pump sometimes to get a consistent fill.

The values for cost is for 91 octane only.
AND FROM CANADIAN PRICES.

There are both metric and imperial graphs attached.

EDit: The car has factory stock everything, summer tire option. 40psi fronts and 42 rears.

Late 07 MINI COOPER S

Enjoy.

That's great! Wow, takes a lot of patience and discipline to collect and store that info.

I've always recorded that info, it only requires recording the total miles reading and the gallons (or litres) bought. (optionally date and cost.) I got the habit from my dad he always kept those records, so I did too. I used to have a little book I'd record the details, these days I just scribble the miles (and trip, and computer MPG) on the receipt then enter everything directly in a spreadsheet when I get home.

When I'm at the right computer, I could generate the same graphs for ours.

Huh !

I never thought of plotting the data -
I have nearly all the data except two or three fillups since May 2002 for my car...
I'll plot a few data points...
