Really cool light bar
Check out this light bar. The lights sit flush and have no brackets showing. It is very very clean.

according to many people w/ light bars, airflow and cooling is not an issue... tho i'd worry about that, too. but what i'd worry most about is people knocking the lights out when they're parking in front of you

They are set back very fare and look very clean. You can't see any mounting bracket's or bar. By far the coolest I have seen to date.

FYI the palo uber light bar is a MAJOR PITA to install on a car with an Aero Bumper.
Trending Topics
Do you have to drill holes in the bumper to install it? What about Aero Bumper compatibility?
Hey, what lights are they using? IPF? HELLA?
I really like them a lot....
I have been perfectly happy with my Alta bar, but hey...this sits the lights in a perfect location IMO...can't wait to hear more!!!

Is it just me or does it look like those lights are simply bolted to the lower lip?
Hmmm......if those are just bolted on (as I assume) then you can get the exact same lights here

for $60 a pair and make it yourself.

After reading the Voltage site I'm 90% sure those are Westin lights with some slots cut into the lower lip.
The Voltage site says "The installation of this system is not for the beginer and does take some modification to the lower lip"
It might be a good DIY project of somebody wants to tackle it.

"modification to the lower lip" most likely refers to the drilling of holes in the lower bumper cover lip. If it's anything like the PU (which I'd be willing to bet money on), the light bar brace sits in the lower bumper cover lip, the lights (with the holes already drilled) drop right through the lip, and bolt up to the brace. That's it. It honestly took me about 5 hours to install my PU bar, this one appears to be the same setup from the outside. I'd have to see the bar in person to see how it compare to the PU though.
Only one person with these lights? I would like to hear more about them from a fellow NAM member. (I like reviews about products before I buy.) Anyways, I emailed the company a list o' questions and this is the response:
The lights Themselves are very similar in quality and look as the hellas but are a bit smaller to fit the inside of the bumper cover and are made by Westin. The kit comes with a template that that you use for cutting small notches out of the lower black part of the cover, very easy to do with an exacto knife.the material mini uses is very soft and cuts with no real effort.every thing comes with the kit, brackets, lights, wires, hardware.the mounts are bullet proof and will not fall off at any point in your cars lifetime, wont bounce or wiggle.wont eve shimmy.they may even save you money on a tow hook.Voltage would never send you rusty parts for your car.The install isnt that hard.it just requires you to pull the front bumper off and do some work .

Their website says $265. They also offer free installation for local customers (or so it says on the order page), which sounds a bit overgenerous. I don't see an address on their website, but the (310) area code suggests Southern California. Maybe a roadtrip to get some driving lights is in our near future...
Anyone find the specific installation instructions anywhere? I'm wondering how they are bolting them on to the structural bumper.
I think Westin contracts out for the lights for their light bars for trucks. Should be decent quality.
I like the look, still very skeptical that it wouldn't block airflow. Hard to fathom how it wouldn't. Probably not going to block enough to really make a difference though.

I don't think airflow is blocked enough with those lights to affect daily driving. Might hurt with racing... I haven't noticed my car running any hotter

I've been thinking about getting the palo uber lightbar too until I found this post.
I emailed them too and this is what I got back. He must have missed my question about the aero kit. I guess I'll email him again about that.
They attach to the main bumper and screw in from the rear.the bracket hangs down and
the light attaches to that, not the bumper cover. The lights are made by
westin.nothing to special but they sure fit good and look nice. The light kit does
require some mod to your bumper cover and grill and is not for the beginer mod
guy.just keep that in mind.but its just what has to be done to acheive the look of
the lights not hanging 12 inches off the front of you car.any other Q's just drop me
a line.im in the south bay if youd like to check it out.torrance, redondo beach
area.Thanks.Dale VP

I'm really serious about getting these lights. I really like the setup. I'm wondering how bright they are. I drive alot in the back roads and i really want something bright. I wonder even if i could upgrade the bulbs... anyway i think these are great!
