The bulbs are as bright as you choose. I decided to source my bar and lights separately so I could run the Hella FF700's. Check out www.rallylights.com for some useful information on lighting options. I bought my light kits locally because I needed instant gratification, just chose them there and ordered my clear stone guards there.

Here is a better version of my sig image. The bulb in the Hella FF700 is a standard 55watt H3 bulb.

A rig like this is well suited to really dark roads, just not oncoming traffic. I'll add an in car shot or two later.

ok three shots from in car. you'd get very similar lighting from Hella FF500's which will mount in the space this bar puts them.

First shot is showing the stock HID headlights only. I moved the car until I just illuminated the hydrant. (sorry about the blur didn't notice it until I was at home)

Second shot is baseline darkness just for comparison.

Last shot is with HID and all 4 driving lights on.

You can see the light is hitting objects at least 35 feet further away. On the trip to AMVIV V I was illuminating reflective objects (signs, license plates, cop cars etc.) about a mile out. The building with the light above/behind it is about 1/8 mile away.

These almost mounted flush in the grill. I've got the small light set on mine but, the light bar was a fleaBay purchase and they support post come out too far to move them into the grill. I'm going to lower them anyway this weekend. Here is the Red I just finished for a buddy and mine is the Dark Silver.
