New Votage Race Pedels

Dale from Voltage product came over today and installed a set of his new Race Pedals (Thanks Dale). These things are a real quality product. They are cut out of 6061 aluminum on a water jet. The aluminium is a bout 1/4 thick. They use little Allen head screws as spikes to grip your shoes. The cool part about this is you can adjust each spike the get the grip that's comfortable to you. I told him he's crazy for selling these so cheap. You can find out more info at voltageproductsonline.com.

Rennline

Outmotoring has a pedal set, not sure if the rubber studs are available.

Those look sweet.

I find the OEM rubber to provide the perfect levels of grip and slip, with my Piloti shoes. I resently replaced the worn pedals with OEM parts.

What's the purpose of these? Kinda odd. Maybe for rally drivers in wet muddy conditions.
I'd never have something like these in my car. Good way to ruin a nice pair of driving shoes also. They do look nice, but I'd remove those studs and chuck'm.

based on looks I think that to but it really works well to just give enough grip. Like I said you can set the studs to suit you. I drove around in soft rubber Rainbow flip flops today and the don't have a mark on them.

They have them for $95.00. on their web site.

You would easily pay double that for pedals of this quality. They are really nice.

Hmm... the picture of the installed pedals is from the same car as the one used for the website, only at a different angle. Checkout the carpet defects and the unevenness of the clutch & brake. Identical!

Also, there's an additional cutout on the gas pedal from the "installed" picture (unless that's some sort of felt sticker -- I think it is).

Nonetheless, they're sweet pedals and this post got me looking...
