^^^Yes, those are Lounge leather, however they're still "sport" seats.

Right. Leather, but they are stock seats. They were an option, but are not modified or aftermarket seats (like Recarro etc).

 

Yup, we're on the same page. Stock "sport" seats that happen to be covered in optional Lounge Leather.


--->dhoosee: That pic you found looks like the seats are Punch leather, as indicated by the all-black leather and the perforated center sections in the bottom and back.

 

These are the punched black leather not the leatherette.

 

Ruh-roh! You are correct! In my haste to post a picture, I missed that..

Why would they put a MINI w/Punch Leather in an auto show? (note the pamphlet bag the guy is carrying). Odd choice to have some schmoe poke through one with a pen or knife (or pen-knife!).
