Welcome to the world of buying technology. You can't think of it as being obsolete. It will still do exactly what you bought it to do. Remember that because there's something better out there, there's no reason that what you have now is no longer any good. Of course, I'm sure MINI will be happy to sell you a new car next year so you can upgrade.

Considering there still isn't a USB upgrade for 07's, I wouldn't hold my breath on dealer upgrades!
