2 Questions ------>

1. Can I program my turn signals and outside lights, etc on my MC with no conv. package? My wife can on her Clubman with Conv package.

2. Alta intake...any good? Worth the money? Increase or decrease milage if my foot stays out of the throttle.

Thank you guys! This board rocks

I'll sit back and eat some waiting for the responses.

the R56 lights and blinkers have some programming features that you can custom set.

And I'd find any CAI performance claims to be extremely slight alone. It does make the turbo influence more acoustically gratifying. And that will make you faster. Really.

You can program the number of blinks for the turn signals and turn the daytime lights off/on.

If you're going to put on a cold air intake - you may want to consider a DDM Works intake with the cold air diverter that actually uses the factory intake slot (I'm assuming you have a Clubman Cooper S). If not, an intake is going to only give you minimal result and a little more aural effect.

See below...EC Mag did a test on three typical bolt on mods for the MCS:

No problemo...I'd also check out the mod section under drivetrain...there are many discussions going on right now about ECU and exhuast systems.

BTW...how is it like driving a Z06, and then jumping into a MINI ?

Start MINI
Press the stalk button until it says SET/INFO appears.Press and hold.
Keep pressing until CHECK/INFO appears.Press and hold.
Press 4 times until SET(the second one with a checkmark) appears.
Press and hold.
Now you should be at the settings.
The daytime lights(always on) is the fifth and turn signals the sixth

I feel like the mini is a moped after the Z

So true! It's just so different. Z is a torque monster but handles the curves great, just a different feel.
