Ran Over Curb, What Could I Have Messed Up?

I reversed my left rear wheel over a high stone brick curb, heard an awful scrape, and couldn't get out without continuing in reverse into my in-law's front lawn and hearing a lot more awful scraping sounds.

I took a peak under my chassis, I see that the chassis frame edges are scraped a bit but nothing else seems out of sorts. The drive home was fine and there's nothing leaking that I can see.

This hurts me so bad. Could I have missed something that I seriously screwed up?

I feel ur pain ...we really do care for these cars

I was just under mine today looking at all the different places to lift the car...if it started right when the 1 wheel went up I would look at the little piston like thing right next to the wheel and connected to the lower control arm...it hangs pretty low, but should be protected because of the hight of the wheel

Also check and see if it was just scrapping against the spare tire

Goodluck and I'm sure everything will be fine

Dude, you should be more careful when you drive it like you stole it...

If you don't see no drips then it should be fine.

If there is anyplace where the paint has been scraped, get some touch up paint and cover it up to prevent rust from getting a start.

you can buy the rear back up sensors on eaby and elsewhere very cheap to buy and easy to install.

Thanks guys for the support. I think my mini will survive this scare.

Embarrassing story, though. Some details. Let's just say I was distracted by my passengers, backing up around a curved driveway for a 3 point maneuver to end up driving out forwards on my in-laws long driveway. I just went a little farther than I usually do. Ironically, I have a very reliable back-up camera, but didn't bother to look at it. I've done this maneuver almost hundred times I'm sure. I guess I have a 1% fail rate.

Certainly, from now on, I will not be so cavalier.

Here's partial footage of the incident after I ran over the curb (in order to censor some verbal nastiness) caught on my security/dashcam. I should call it my "stupid"-cam.
