Aftermarket Seats for the XXL

I know there are a bunch of aftermarket seats out there that are very comfortable for most but perhaps not for the XXL of us.

Anyone have experience with what seats fit bigger guys?
I am 6'2" and about 230 #s.

Thanks for your help.

Check out gnatster's car His seats look pretty comfy for a guy with your stature...shoot him a PM and get some more info...check his threads, I cannot remember which one it was and I am getting ready for bed.

Is he still running the MOMO's? I set in a pair of those a while ago in a Saleen Focus and I sat right on the frame of the seat because there was barely any padding in them.

I would look at Recaro. They have a number of seats that are more luxury/race than most companies.

I have to agree that Recaro makes some of the best seats in the world

Yes, I believe that Nate is still running the Momo's...

Another option is the Sparco Evo-they have many options now for sizes within the Evo series
Also, Sparco has the Imola, it seems to be more friendly than some of the others...

I would go with either the Recaro or Nate's Momo, or Sparco's Imola unless you are looking for a fixed back...

Then, the Evo series is probably going to work best for you...

BTW, COBRA Seats are one of my favorites and they offer wider/ taller sizes...and I think ALTA is now a dealer...Check them out

tbh, although there is a Sparco Evo III I believe, it wouldn't fit in the Mini. My Evo IIs push against both doors and they are hard up against the center tunnel. The Evo IIs are 1" wider than the Evo Is or thereabouts. I guess the IIIs are a little wider again. I doubt at 230lb you'd fit a II, unless you were naked and greased up...weird.
