R50/53 She's on the ship!
Do you know which boat your black beauty is on? I happened to be in Southampton on 28th July 2003 and saw the Hual Tricorn being loaded with MINIs. Check out my picture gallery on http://www.mini2.com (under same login name).

My advise.....to perserve your sanity, pretend not to care (...blatant self-deception) about the whereabouts of your MINI. Things may have changed, but once my MINI was en route, things became very sketchy about when the ship arrived/departed cartain ports...and once unloaded, my MINI was here before I got any estimated arrivals. Things just went dark and it was hard to get reliable information. I'm sure there are tricks to this that I don't know about. Anyway, your MINI is a beaut and you'll be motoring before you know it. Just try to maintain a strand of sanity so you can check her out properly when you take delivery! VERY exciting!!!!!

Xanthus,
Sorry I got your hopes up. The mini2 site seems to be working now, but be warned we did not have much time to snap pictures as we weren't expecting to see any MINIs. I thought they were loaded on the other side of the docks and it took us some time to get the camera out of our luggage. Also we didn't get any clear shots of individual cars. We did get a good picture of the ship though.
