Buying a 06 "corporate fleet lease" MINI?? thoughts?

Hi,

there is a 06 MINI with 6000 miles, avg options, no xenon or sport pkg, that's been sitting on the dealer lot since last October!! carfax says it's a 1 owner car, but it was a "corporate fleet lease". what does that mean? any input appreciated.

dealer is asking $17500. Edmunds says dealer retail for this car is $15900.

Corporate Lease can mean a few things.

Dealer fleet car that a salesperson drove as an incentive vehicle.
Service Loaner.
Executive corporate car.
Etc...

I'm thinking you could find something better. Mini's aren't rare... there's always another one around the corner.

My local dealership has sold a few MINIs that were used within MINI USA; they're typically loaded with add-ons - I wonder if this car has that sort of history?
Did they put the 100K extended warranty on to it; that would make it more worth the money. The '06 was the best year

We bought our '06 MC from a dealer last summer and we were told a BMW executive drove it for about 7k miles. It's got just about every package on it...seems the only thing missing is NAV, bluetooth phone, and automatic trans. Nicely outfitted. We love the car.

an 06 mini with 6k on the clock for under 20 grand, i would buy it

but maybe thats just cause the used market here for a car like that would be around 22k in the bay area it seems like it.

at a local dealer they have an 03 with 61k on the clock and want 17900

i passed on a similar situation. means that a company owned it, but not that it was necessarily a "fleet" car in the usual sense of the word. could be just for an individual, but with that low of a mileage, that is not likely, unless the exec lived around the corner and never went anywhere in it.

but i would prob go for it i paid $15000 for an 04 with like 53000 on it.
