Top-only cover?
Anybody know if there is a cover that just goes over the top; something that stops at the beltline? It might be easy enough to put on & take off that I'd be willing to deal with it on a daily basis. D'Mini sleeps in the garage at night, but sits in the sun 5 days a week. That has to take a huge toll on the fabric.
My cabrio sits outside 24x7 (just as my Z4 did for 3+ years). You'd be surprised how solid these tops are. I wouldn't worry so much about it; I doubt covering it will extend its life. Just occasionally clean it and spray it with Ragg Top (or some fabric protector) and avoid taking it through a car wash that sprays wax or harsh chemicals all over the car.
I've seen them for sale, but have yet to buy one:

I got one from my mini dealership, etched on the cover is a parking ticket and a wheel clamp LOL!!!!! I haven't taken it out of the package yet, but when I do i'll post a photo on here. It's really cute!!!
oh, but this covers the entire car, not just the convertible top. I think that the mini catalog at the dealerships has just a convertible top cover?! Also check ebay

I park in a carport at night and was finding cat prints every morning along with the cat "marking" my windshield.
Now I cover Winnie with an old quilt, and have it sprinkled with Cayenne Pepper. I see the cat walking around my car but has never ventured up. I think that stupid cat can smell it.
On the nights I'm too tired, guess what's back in the morning?

Maybe you can spray some of that "no go" stuff on Winnie??? But i'm not sure what that will do to Winnie
will this work on a coupe? my R53's windows are not tinted so it gets really hot inside the car when it's under the sun for a few days (NVM, just saw the part # for coupes in Moss' site)

I was going to suggest asking around at a local boating shop, because there are companies that custom-build covers for any configuration you can think of, but it would be hard to beat that Moss cover for $60.
Inversely Proportional Pricing
Good question! I got no idea. Clubmans are the red headed step child of Mini's so maybe its a bonus?
