Did you happen to see...

me broken down on the hwy?
4 Minis did and didn't even stop to see if I needed help! [Must not be in the Club]

I was driving Hwy 85 S (@ Catawba River Bridge) and then all of a sudden the car wouldn't drive anymore - and came to a complete halt in the right lane of the hwy in rush hour traffic!!!

It's at Hendrick hanging out. Say hi to it if you pass by. I'm in # 6 Sparkling Silver if you happen to see me around town!

My best guess is the transmission - I had the same experience in my last car - just not the hwy in rush hour!

What the heck! Sorry to hear this happened, and moreso nobody would help, especially MINI owners? I stop for women and men if they look like they're in distress, regardless of what they drive.

That sucks, I would have stopped, especially for a MINI in distress! Hope you get it fixed!

Well they certainly must have not belonged to our Club. I always stop for good looking gals whether they are broke down or not! I have only stopped for 1 Mini and that was in Georgia and he ran out of gas in a new one. The dealership where he picked it up did not even fill it up???? I am not saying the dealership, cause I heard later is was a mistake and they more than made it good, just trying to get the man out the door in a new car. Anyway a trip to the gas station and lucky we didn't have to prime it and he was good to go. NAY hope you get her off the crutches and walking the dog again soon. Luke

Well - Hendrick suggested that I remove my cold air intake and silicone hose. They think the car is getting too much air and it's causing it to stall.
I'll keep you posted!

So - It's for sale if anyone wants it!

Hi Nay just back from Dragon and was wondering if you got your baby out of the hospital and does she run good or still have problems? I disagree on the cold air because I have never heard of that and most mini's have cold air added to their Mini's? Call Dan Zipkin and Grassroots and as him what he thinks? Hope its all fixed by now!

I thought it was an unwritten law of the MINI that you DO stop for a Mini in need. Good grief - I live in California & would be very disappointed if a fellow Mini didn't stop to offer assistance. Hope your baby gets a clean bill of health & keeps her chin up .... most of us out here are in the good sam club.
