Hey all you Canuck NAMs,

Got a PDF from my "Brand Specialist" (Canada's term for MA) that confirms the following details:

1) Factory JCW cars sold as 2009 models
2) Comes standard with "sports" suspension - consistent with what MINI USA VP Jim McDowell said at this year's NYIAS
3) Comes standard with the factory aero kit - NOT the JCW aero kit. I think this is a negative! I would rather have the stock bumpers.
4) Mechanical LSD is not available since DCT/EDL is standard

No pricing is available, but orders can be put into the system for June 2008. Delivery later in the summer.

I looked at the spec sheet yesterday myself..... very tempting!

 

Checked here in BC and was told it is a Sept build with a Nov delivery. Major dealers seem to have an order limit of 3. Anyone know anything about that?

It's a different car than the US version and mini.ca is more than a bit lacking in details (and the photos on the site show the Aero kit...) The "2008 Product Planning Bulletin" PDF was a bit of a mess. Anyone have more complete details on the car?

Anyway, cool! Are you doing an all white? How'd you get the JCW Aero kit and at what cost?

 

Yes I will be all PW with carbon fiber accents and the JCW aero kit is a dealer installed option.. cost is around $2500
