Luke,
This is something David and i would like to do. Some of the mini's from Helen will be there I believe, would be nice to catch up with them. Might be a good idea to hunt for a hotel room.. spend the night friday? We could motor on down from cola? Ill see if Sharon and Floyd want to too!

Sent my paper work and check in today after the Asheville ride and eat. I am planning on going down friday morning and spending the night do the show and come home. Lets do it! Will search for hotel when I get back from the Dragon.
Again I apoligize she forgot to sign off. But I am registered and you need to be before the 9th May. We should have alot of GA Mini's there. I will find a hotel when I get back. Luke

I am in and leaving friday morning and spending the night, doing the show the next day and driving back. If any of you are going need to pre-register by 9 May. Meet several GA Mini's on the DRAGON that were at Helen run and are going. Luke
Just got back tonight at 11pm. Met up with alot of Mid Georgia Mini's that we met in Helen. Also a couple from Savannah GA, was there as they were in Helen GA. Mid Georgia Mini's got the Trophy for best club attendence. Also Shawn got 1st Place in Mini's. I was put in the Wild Mods catagory with all the Honda, Acura, PT's and Mazda's and I took 1st in that. It was a beautiful day and the event was great. Everyone of the Mini people won a door prize. After we all went to Starbucks, put up a tent outside and had coffee for a couple of hours and I got to meet some more of the Georgia Mini people. Wish all that thought about this could have made it because it was alot of fun, and benefited a great cause. Luke
I completely missed this post before so it was a total shock for me to see someone drive all the way down from the M2C2 group! Thank you for coming. Last year this event raised over $2k to send over 200 care pkgs to the troops. I'm not sure about this year because there were multiple car shows being held simultaneously so thanks again for your participation. Every car counted! I'm usually behind on updating the website but I've actually got the pics uploaded. You can check them out at http://www.middlegeorgiaminis.com/gallery.html.
BTW - Check out your latest MC2 issue. Shaun's article on the Helen trip is in it.

I just wanted to say thanks to Luke from M2C2 and Stephanie (QWKSILVR) from Coastal MINIs for riding all the way out to the "Support from the Heart of Georgia Car Show". I also want to thank Doc for registering and supporting the cause; sorry an emergency came up. We had a great time and it is always a joy to see BLUCOOPR and BUR-LEE.
Again, we at Middle Georgia MINIs salute you!
