Okay so how in the heck do I order this part?

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...71&hg=51&fg=30

I need basically the trim piece on 3. Mine is that faux/scratched aluminum finish. It's the part/piece above the glove box.

How do I find the appropriate part number for my car?

Thanks.

Way I did it was to copy the part number and then go to pelicanparts and enter the part number. That easy. There may be cheaper places, but that's the easy way.

I was curious which part number matches up with my color. And, wow are they overpriced.

Part number 51457124340 - COVER,I-PANEL PASSENGER SIDE ALU PATINA on Pelican Parts (I think?). I just ruined my passenger side and I about choked when I saw the $117 price tag. :( :(

For such a price, I'd live with the damaged part. How badly is it gouged, if that?

Might want to check with Classic or Morristown, make sure you mention NAM to get the discount.

Hey thanks guys. It's not bad, but I'm since I made the stupid mistake of using an acetone based nail polish remover to get rid of some sticker residue (ruining a small area of the dash in the process), I feel obligated to replace the part.

I'm convinced this car hates me. :(

ECS Tuning shows it for $108. No idea who they are, they just popped up instead of pelican once in the parts search.
