A Grill or Cowl Question

I have an '03 MC, and I really like the look of the original chrome grill. I was wondering ... has anyone ever seen a mod for the lower front cowl where it would end up having the look that would be similar to the upper chrome grill with the slats?

I have an '08 R56 and am interested in same. Have the black honeycomb on the bottom, but would like to kick up the chrome accents. Most of what I'm seeing seems to go the other way ... black out the chrome.

I have a MC coming (finished production today) and I too would like the chrome lower grill that comes with the Chrome-Line Exterior pack (but not the other chrome parts - thats why I didn't spec it). Any idea where these can be ordered from?

I'm clueless. I guess that's why there's a thread question on it. Taking my baby to the dealer Friday to get her fitted for her "sunglasses," so I'll ask my MA if she knows of any source.

Excellent - be sure to post back here! I'm sure the part can be ordered for repairs....

So....."sunglasses"? Getting the window's tinted?

Malcon, I can't speak for revray, and mine is an R56, but the horizontal grill slats on mine and the ring are both chrome. The cowl, below the grill, is a black honeycomb like material with no ring. You might can tell a little in the pic in my signature.

Chrome slats on this lower part would be great, but I'd even go with a chrome honeycomb. Given my color combo, I like a little more chrome vs. black.

It is sort of the look I was thinking of, though I was hoping for something that wouldn't require a completely new front grill mount. And I would like to stick with the chrome look as well.

I must say that I am a bit surprised that no one can seem to point us in the right kind of direction. With all the stuff that's on this site, it's hard for me to believe that I have such a unique take on this question.

When I was at the dealer yest., I asked them about it and they looked into it. No luck, but mine's an R56 ... Merry hunting, everyone!
