A lot more. Two adults can sit in the back without the front seats pushed way forward.

The safest bet is to go sit in one yourself with the seat situated the way you'd be driving it. I know there's at least one other over 6 footer on here who has a Clubman... I"m 5' 9" and my 5' 11" husband could sit behind me. But we all have our special driving styles.

there's a lever that raises and lowers the seat... I find that low also goes back and raise also goes forward... I'm 6'1" and like to sit low... I can move the seat forward a couple of notches.

I am 6'4 and I took both my kids 13 and 10 with me on the test drive. They did not complain at all about the rear legroom even behind the driver's seat!

I'm 6'3 and have two "settings" a forward position (while not uncomfortable, non-optimal for long trips) and my default (no rear passenger) position. With my forward setting I could sit behind myself driving.

I leave a car seat in bazooka (behind shotgun, MINI calls this seat the clubdoor seat) and can have someone actually jump in behind me.

Needless to say the R56 is an intolerable squeeze for rear passengers. The Clubbie is much more civilized.

the seat room in the clubbie is alot bigger than the one in my old 2006 cooper S for sure..as a matter of fact, the 2006 had plenty of leg room as well, but the clubbie is alot bigger, the whole car is bigger and it's fantastic!! it is great for a family for sure, and the mini side door is great for the kids or dogs too.

3-4 inches more legroom and about 1-2 inches more rear shoulder room. It does make a big difference.

I'm 6'2" and my kids age 6 and 7 had zero complaints during test drive with me putting the seat exactly where I wanted it. Zero complaints is rare even if they *are* comfortable. Threw them into an R56 and my less tolerant 7 year old immediately complained -- her legs simply didn't fit in front of the seat.

I was also surprised with how tell I fit in the back of a Clubman. It had a "small car" feel back there, but I actually fit.
