hey guys,

i just received my m7 jcw grill thing and it was a pain to install. couple of tabs broke and frustration made it even worse. but i think the worst part of this whole install was the fog lights. but all in all im very much in love with the new look hahaha :D

here are a couple of pics just to show you how it looks like. the install isnt done because im still waiting on a couple of tubes from coast 2 coast.

i saw how small the oem intercooler was on the forums but i didnt know it was THAT small. so i took a pic of the intercooler with my cell phone to show a comparison if anyone was interested.



just storing my front end with the other front ends ive gotten from the dealer. they gave me the BRG front, rear and side skirts because i asked for it. some customer didnt want their front end so i was lucky enough to swoop in on it. now i kinda dont know what to do with it. hahah



a heiny, chicken bake and a front end. it feels great.



and last pic. i just placed the bumper on my car just to see how it would look like finished.

you should steal a jcw bumper from your dealer and give it to me =] i want

 

im going for the "sleeper" mods which will be the tubes, intercooler and ecu. mayyyybeee ill do intake, it just depends if i find it feasible or not. once i get that done ill be set in the performance section. i dont drive my car often because my 600rr is my daily ride. gas here in the bay area is way too much at 4 bucks a pop.

 

im trying to get a ninja 600 for my dd =] i already put too many miles on my mini..... or i could get a 250 moped for free... not sure yet

 

you have a lot of bumpers

the grille over the fog lights kinda give it a rally car look

kinda excited because tomorrow i get my tubes from coast 2 coast so that means the bumper will go on once i finish the install. ive been driving from place to place with out my bumper. yes i know... its a shocker to do that. i was scared as well because i kept thinking that my fenders were going to fly off. ill take pics as soon as i finish. :D

I'm just surprised nobody has posted in here asking for a dyno for the grilles to be honest.

 

i was going through this thread and i said i was going to post up a picture when i finished so heres the finished product if you guys didnt see it on the performance section.



when i drive this at night... im not sure if its my eyes... i mean i have horrible vision. i almost was not able to get into the coast guard because of that but MAYBE the fog lights are not as bright as before but again it can just be my eyes. for some reason i find the yellow fog lights on luxury vehicles very attractive. i saw a couple online but my goodness they are expensive..

in regards to my post about my mods, i now think i dont need the intercooler because after reading a post about how the OEM intercooler is very efficient, i thought maybe i can use that money for something else

and of course you'll see what i mean in a week.
