Just found out that my car went into production today. I'm so excited and surprised because I was scheduled for Week 19 which would have been the week of May 5th. I've been calling ASKMINI once a week to get an update from Customer Relations (live person) and up until last week, I was on Week 19. Online, it still says "On Order" and automated ASKMINI still says "no confirmed production date". So - for those scheduled far ahead, there is hope that you might be bumped up to get you closer to your new baby. My baby will be completed on May 2nd. Yehey!

 

Great news!! Now relax, take a deep breath.

 

Me too Zugar!! Exact same conversation, except the guy told me May 1 for my date. (Out of curiousity, what was your original order date? Sounds like we're in the same time frame...)

My order date was 3/28. HC with silver top and exterior trims, sport stripes, cold weather pkg, non-S, MFSW, HC cloth/leather-I'm not a big fan of leather (I know people probably think I'm weird, but in summer leather makes you sweat-yuck-and if I have to cover the seats, then what's the point? )

 

Mine was 4/2.
SS/black top Clubman S, manual, exterior chrome, cold weather, convenience, lounge leather black (too pretty to resist-- I'll have to sweat )sunroof.
I've now begun haunting the house in my neighborhood that has a new mini parked out front - it's my little obsessive fix until mine comes....hope they don't think I'm casing their house!

 

WHOO - HOO!!! I also just called 866-ASK-MINI and got GREAT NEWS too...my Clubman started production this morning !!!

The guy told me the "he" or "she" was "born" at 6:15 or 6:50 this morning. . .
I was so excited I cannot remember the exact time - is that bad fathering ?

So I guess I am no longer a 19th weeker?

Spent most of yesterday & all of today (so far) cleaning out the garage to get it ready. . .

 

Had the same thing happen to me. I was scheduled for Week 17, and ended up in Week 16 instead. My Clubbie's currently sittin' on the dock of the bay...

Congratulations! I ordered my Clubman about the same time and am scheduled for Week 19 as well. Perhaps I may get an earlier production date too.

i called them yesterday and was told Week 19 as well (May 5th) ... HC MC with silver here too ... I wonder what the answer will be later this week?
maybe I got bumped as well.

 

 

Mine too. I called an I'm still listed as week 19 with no change to what they could report to me.

 

looks like some of the MC's are getting pushed forward.
there is a big waiting list for the S's so I think those might still be in the regular queue.
but what do i know ... have no idea what the rhyme and reason is at the factory on what goes when

 

I ordered a Clubman S and I was originally scheduled for First week in May(Week 19) but i called ASK-MINI and i was informed it went into production yesterday (4/22)

seems llike the colour is the key to when it is made. they probably do different colours on different days or weeks.

 

I never would have even thought to check to see if my production had started early. Called today and it actually started 4/21. 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Nothing like good news the two days before your birthday.

 

oh yeah ... just called and was also told Production started yesterday 4/23 ... about 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

looks like I am week 17 now instead of 19

 

Hey all -- thanks for the heads up; I called ASK MINI last night and found out that they started my Clubman S on 4/22 as well! (I was also originally scheduled for Week 19).

Here's hoping that those of you who are still waiting will find out you've been bumped up soon

Mine finally moved to "scheduled for production", in the owners lounge. Is there a way to tell what day it will be built on?
