Aux jack AND CD player- possible?

Every aux jack kit I find says you can't use it IF you have a factory CD player as it uses the same plug. My wife's '03 MCS has the factory CD player but she (and I) want the aux jack for her Ipod and my XM radio. Any way to wire them so you can use both?

My non-nav '03 has the AUX + CD Player and the CD Changer (rear) which has been removed since I replaced the factory CD Player with a '04 Fac CD/MP3 Player.

I think there's an extra step if you have Nav.

The factory aux input cable that MINI sells for $40 uses a different plug from the CD changer (I'm assuming that's what you meant). They do not interfere with each other. Some aftermarket aux input do plug into the CD changer connection. You shouldn't have a problem if you get the factory aux input.
