Question about auto AC

is there anyone that currently has their downtubes removed (maybe installing a radio or something?) and wouldnt mind checking something for me?

on the auto a/c panel, theres a wiring harness coming out of it, with 19 wires. 2 of them are white with red stripes. pin #10, and pin #18.

one red wire goes to one place, and the other goes to another place.

since i cut mine off, i dont know which one goes with which. im wondering if someone would look at theirs, and see which place pin #10 goes to, and which one pin #18 goes to.

you can see the pin numbers if u remove the blue plastic piece over the wiring harness. you will see what i mean when u unscrew the a/c panel. i dont know if anyone is willing to do this, but if so, id really appreciate it!

someone has to be installing a new radio or something right now, and while your downtubes are off, check the a/c wiring harness for me!!! lol

Not sure I understand you. I have mine out now for a stereo install. I see pin 10 and 18 are white/red. Do you mean where do they go once they leave the connector? Will keep looking as I install my system.
Just connect them up, you have a 50/50 chance of gettin it right the first time

Number 10 goes to the servo to the left of the control unit. The other one heads north into the dash, on my 04 MCS.

Hope that helps!

the "servo" unit is that right behind the a/c control unit right? and #18 goes up around the glove box area?

The servo has the black box and black gear right behind the A/C controller, #10 goes there. #18 heads into the wire loom into the depths of the dash.
