My dealer says that he reconfigured a mini already slated for production. This should cut my wait time to 6 weeks. Does this sound right, or am I gonna have to wait longer?
He says that he got a VIN today & it should be ready for delivery on the 14th of May. Is this a pipe dream?

 

Mine was here in 5 1/2 weeks from order date to delivery to me. I think it would have been here in 5 weeks if the trucker from Port Hueneme hadn't decided to take the weekend off.

 

Mine took 6 weeks - got it yesterday!!
You're lucky if your MA could get one reconfig'd - slots are getting harder to acquire I think, as people find out how hot these are...

Are you tracking it in the Owner's Lounge? You shouldn't have to wait any longer than what he told you unless there's a shipping delay.

Oh, it's gonna be a rough ride!

We've been waiting 7 weeks now. The boat with our Clubman is due to dock today in NYC, then we have the wait through the VDC and on to the dealer.

I think I've learned more about this car in the last 7 weeks than I've ever learned about any other car I've owned - all thanks to NAM!

Ah, sweet anticipation...

 

When I ordered, my MA said it would be between 6-8 weeks. If everything goes as planned and delivery is on or about April 22, it will be 5-1/2 weeks. I can't wait. There are not many Mini's here in Lafayette, LA, so I haven't had the anxiety of watching others enjoying their cars while I wait.

 

I ordered mine in Mid-December, was built in Mid-January and took delivery at the end of February.

It was about 8-9 weeks. But I believe 6 weeks is more realistic now that the car is fully available in the pipeline. I had to wait 2 extra weeks because the Clubman could not be sold before the February 16th launch date.
