So, has anyone taken an R53 out on the Salts for an open-throttle run?

 

I have thought about going to the World of Speed. It is Sept 17 - 20 this year. They have speed categories based on safety equipment requirements. The Mini can enter the 130 mph class. You run a measured mile at 130 but not over 140 and get a certificate.

Interesting, that to go faster means roll cage. What, no Porsche runs?
