Relocating auto AC controls!

i have one question. i just took it out, there is 2 wiring harnesses. im relocating to the glove box, they have plenty of room to move them, without cutting and extending any wires.

im just curious, the wiring harness plugged into the lower right hand corner of the a/c controls, what is that? on the front face of the a/c panel, theres like 3 little slot vent holes in front of this harness.

what is it?

That tells the computer what temperature is in the cabin. You'll want to keep that out in the cabin otherwise the auto heat/ac won't work right at all...

Well there ya go. Just leave it in the glove box with the heater control and set it and forget it. Might want to shut that vent thats in the glove box so it doesn't actually get cold in there, otherwise it may get to 60 in the glovebox and still be 90 in the car and the air will just shut off thinking it's done.

So the AC controls are all by wire? Just take it off where it is now and you can move it?

from what i see, yes. no vacuum lines or anything.

im actually going to extend the wires up, through the a pillar, and its going to be mounted on the headliner.
