1994 Dodge Roadtrek van/motorhome (13 mpg. ). Was fun while it lasted (14 yrs.) but with the price of gas steadily climbing, we can stay in a nice hotel for the difference in fuel economy and not have to maintain it.

Fantastic car (and paid for) but my wife refuses to learn a stick and as she drives a M-B R350 it makes sense to have a runabout that we can both drive when she's not ferrying kids.

2002 MINI Cooper CVT. Great little car that gave us 6 years of reliable service. Went to a loving home in Southern California 2 months ago.

We're giving up my wife's 06 MINI Cooper CVT. It's been a great car, but we're planning on a baby so we wanted a little extra room. Good thing is, we upgraded to an S. That CVT is very slow when trying to get up to speed.

I gave up 11 motorcycles (vintage). Last year I had two people in SUV talking on cell phones pull out in front of me. The first wasn't too bad the other I was in the hospital but have healed well. So gave them up for a 07 MCS.

Ever tried Sport Mode on that CVT?

06 MCSa with some regrets.

But love the smoother coordination between the engine and auto transmission in our Clubman S, plus all the other benefits.

99 GMC Sonoma, Extended cab. Weak little 120 hp engine that only gets 20-21 mpg.

I find it interesting how many trucks are showing up in the thread. Everyone who hears I'm getting a Mini seems to think it's a strange jump. It's nice to see it's not just me making strange jumps. The clubman has more interior space than my truck, so I feel like I'm moving up to a bigger car despite the smaller overall size.
