New Configurator Option!

I was checking out the Clubman configurator today, and noticed a new accessory option - a rear wing spoiler!

SafariScreenSnapz001.pdf (sorry for the PDF...)

No details yet (as you can see), but something to further customize our Clubmans! Sweet (for those who might like that look).

Yeah, I saw that the other day, and I have to agree with William.

Why ruin a perfectly good-looking Clubman with one of those? I know this is exciting for some, but it's certainly not my bag, baby.

I saw a bunch of spoilers at AMVIV last weekend. I have to agree, to me they look pretty bad (even the nicer ones). The JCW carbonfiber one looks the best in pix but it's expensive and supposedly makes a horrible wind noise according to some posts.

Agreed, I think I was more excited about the prospect of additional customization options. No plan here to add a wing to my Clubman...!

I do like the "spoiler" on the rear of my LandCrusher, which keeps rain, etc. of my back window. Don't think something like that would work with the Clubman, though.

Not my cup of tea but I'm sure we'll see a few out there soon...

Not for me either. A lot of the Euro racers I see have huge wings and if they only knew that they hurt performance I still think they would continue with them. They will never drive at speeds or on a track that would require that much rear downforce and they just create drag in normal use. Also, the wings aren't set up correctly to do the above. But on the other hand, dude, they look wicked!

Yeah, I'm with you guys. It kinda messes up the lines of the car. Just my opinion.

Don't mess with perfection! Love my Clubby as is. The only mod I did was a stubby antenna so the car cover can fit it. Oh, and mud flaps to help on the backdoor dust.

But you need it for down force when you are doing over 120 MPH in your neighborhood!
