K-line Emden

Anyone else on the K-line ship "Emden"? I have not been able to locate the ship through www.sailwx.info Anyone have any information on it's location. Just being (im)patient again.

What detail were you given about the loading date/time of your Clubman, and the date/time of ship's departure? I was told my car loaded yesterday (4/2), and the other K-line ships appear not to have been in Southampton yet... so I could be with you.

AC,

I called my MA and he told me that my car was on the Emden which left Southampton April 1.

I don't know what much of that means, but K-Line unfortunately does not let you track the car carriers, and the other site www.sailwx.info had no current info when I entered the vessel name. I don't know how else to search for it, so I guess I will have to fill my time with some light reading.

Where is your port of entry? The only U.S. stops the Emden is making on this trip is Charleston and Baltimore.

Emden is now visible on the sailwx. I have a MCS on it too. ETA in Charleston seems to be 12 April.
I'm in Pittsburgh and I'm told it only take 2-3 days to get here from when it lands . . . that seems short.

I know. I just found it also. Don't know how long it takes to get to the delivery point. My MA says 10 days for me, but I am in Louisiana. I do know talking to the MA that it goes through customs, then by train to the distibution center, then on a truck to LA. So I could see it taking 10 days. Not fair. You will get your car before me.

Mine is on the "Don Juan" I'm about 315 miles east of you at the moment according to:
http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shi...9.2&radius=200

(but I still gotta go through the Panama Canal and up to So-Cal... /grumble)
