2 problems for the MINI Gurus to answer

I have 2 questions for you smart guys out there...

1. When I put the Mini in the garage, I can hear a popping noise for just a couple of minutes or so. Seems to be coming from under the car, as in under the back seat, but outside of the car. Sounds like an expansion popping but not very loud, like a soft "clunk". Each "clunk" lasts just a second and about 45 seconds apart.

2. Has anyone every replaced the roof handle on the passenger side with the same sunvisor as is on the driver's side? If so, can I do this myself? Yes I am a girl but I have a smart husband (haven't told him yet he needs to install one).
Thanks guys.....

My car creaks for a while after I turn it off. Ive narrowed it down to the exhaust cooling off. It could be the same thing

Yes, there are threads on this-- pop the caps, remove the screws, put the visor up, put in screws, pop the plugs back in. I think the thread I'm thinking of even has the part number...

It's just the car cooling off, all the cars my family has had have done, it isnt anything to worry about. The pieces of metal in the car a just shrinking ever so slightly creating those little pops and ticks.

If you listen really carefully you can hear the oil draining to the sump too!
