Installed OEM iPOD interface...now having problems
Hi all! I just installed the OEM ipod interface on my R55. this is the one with the hideaway tray included with the package. I now have it installed but my Boost Radio doesn't recognize my ipod at all. I see the MINI logo on my ipod, but when I select a source on my radio, it won't show the CDC as one of the selectable sources.
I read somewhere that some of the R56's had to go through an ECU update through the dealer, which I am not too happy about. Does anyone know if the clubmans are also subject to the ECU update for the iPod interface? I just made an appointment with the dealership for this weekend. I hope they don't charge me too much for this..

Interested to hear what your outcome is as I was thinking of adding the Ipod interface myself. How much did you pay for the interface if you don't mind my asking?? and how hard was the self install?? I'm not afraid to tear my car apart
It was relatively easy to install the ipod interface. This is the guide that I used to do the install:

It was exactly like Mase said...
The sucky part is now I have to bring my car to the dealer and get my ECU update
