Drivetrain Installation of London Header...
Unpacking my London header I notice there isn't
a new gasket in the box... is the O.E. gasket of the
reusable metal variety? I sure hope so, as I planned to
install this piece tonight. ; )
Thanks in advance,
- Bubba

Done and installed...thanks for the replies.
I've installed everything one can without pulling the head
(well the throttlebody is still on backorder) and the car runs
like it should've from the factory. -- I love it!
Come September I'll be doing Renntech's P&P head with big valves
and a schrick camshaft. I'll then be hovering around 240hp, or so they
tell me. I can't wait! -------------- VROOOM!!!!!!!!!

One of my customers is fitting the genuine Milltek unit on his John Cooper Works kit next week. Curious...what's the part number on the metal tag welded to the "London Stainless" unit? -Pete, Stratmosphere

I can give you my impression on the header. I have a MC and onit it DEFINITELY has more power. The sounds is deeper in my opinion and the sphincter dyno says oh yeah! Definitely worth the cost (as long as its not 1300). I brought mine back on a plane after a visit to some friends in the UK for ~500pounds. For 1300 you could buy a ticket to go pick it up!
I can only imagine the difference it would make on a S
