Some dealers are trying to rip us off on JCW stuff

I have been recently entertaining the idea of having the JCW engine and JCW suspension kits installed on my car. One dealership in Florida quoted me $5195 plus tax for both kits installed!!! A while ago, someone on here was saying he was quoted about $3600 by Morristown MINI in NJ for both kits installed. I reminded that Florida dealership about Morristown prices but they don't seem to care. Also, I think the total install time for both kits is about 7 hours max. Another dealership in Florida is quoting me about 12 hours of labor for both kits installed!!! It looks like my only choice would be to drive up to Morristown MINI if I want to get these kits installed without being ripped off. I am also looking at nearby states for the price quotes but I don't have much hope at this point.

There's a chance it could take 12 hours at your local dealer if they haven't done any/many before. Which would give me one more reason to look elsewhere...
But for the price difference, you could have the car shipped to NJ and back... damn.

I currently live in NJ, and for some reason, Morristown MINI sells official MINI products with a discount. None of the other dealers (Princeton, Mahwah) sell them at the price. I've always wondered why.

Call the MINI dealerships in Atlanta. There are two Global and Hank Aaron. Also you can call MINI of Nashville, TN they will give you a 15% discount. Ask for Gary and tell him you and I spoke and wanted him to help you out.
