SF and Bay Area Coopers!

Our production company just got a hold of an amazing camera, the Sony PMW-EX1, and being the camera tech here, I need to get familiar with it and go take it out for test shoots. What better to film than Coopers? So anyone down for a "motoring" this weekend, send me a PM, let's get together and see how your Mini looks in HD.

P.S. in about a month we get the RED ONE, a 4k camera (4 times the definition of High Definition, HD=1920x1080, 4k=4096x2304!) and I'll be wanting Mini voluteers for that as well.

I can provide copies of all the footage shot to anyone who is in it (i'll have my laptop and blank DVD's on hand).

Mt. Hamilton looks like it'd be a pretty rad drive, Mt. Tam and Bolinas / Stinson beach are always a nice drive, too. I haven't been down to Mt. Hamilton, i'm always down for new area's. Sushiboi, what say you? You down to cruise to Mt. Hamilton, or you want to stay closer and head over to Bolinas or stay in the bay and just go artsy in town? I have an open schedual all weekend, pleanty of recording media (SxS sticks) and free hard drive space, and given I'm capturing "stock footage" work may pick up the gas bill so I'm up for anything. Tenatively do we want to say saturday early afternoon at 10? (sunday works for me too, the autocross may not be as accessible as I previously had hoped) meet at pier 30/32 for some stills and go from there? I'll have the cell on me, (314)276-3772.

Any and all are welcome! The bigger the posse the better!
