Anyone ever get a quote on the JCW Aero Kit from their dealer?

The partner number i have for the whole retrofit is 51 19 0 418 204 for a cooper S w/o PDC.

I think you can pick up the kit for about $1200, but the painting will cost another 1k from the dealer... I am hoping for pre-painted kits to follow from the factory.

 

I think some colors may be available prepainted. Seems like my dealership told me the BRG was prepainted.

If you want to handle the installation, Morristown Mini has the best price on this stuff I have found. You can go to their website and check the online pricing on aero kits, tuning kits, suspension kits, etc.

I was quoted about $1800 to have it painted and installed at the port. As for coming from the factory painted, none of dealers seemed to have heard of it

 

It's too bad they don't sell just the side skirts, and painted. I don't want the bumpers, just the side skirts, but I've only ever seen those offered as unpainted items. If anyone knows where I can purchase painted side skirts, I'd appreciate the info.

yes i think yer right but if you got friends that know a guy that knows a guy you could get them painted nice for cheap.

 

When I ordered my mini, I added the JCW Aero Kit as part of the order. My MA told me it would be installed and painted for $2,550. Not bad if you think about it. It would still be a lot to buy and then paint it yourself...plus you are getting it factory installed and its attached with the warrenty.
