Chrome Trim on rear side cupholders?

I just noticed that the two rear side cupholders in my Clubman do not have the same chrome trim rings as the front cupholders and center rear cupholder. Does anyone with the chrome line trim option know if there's supposed to be chrome trim rings for the rear side cupholders?

Well, you did answer the question in my thread title, so I can't complain!

No chrome on my rear side cupholders and unlike Clubman S I do have the chrome trim option.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't an oversight. I guess the riff-raff in the back seat will have to get by without the chrome trim.

I've ordered the "Chrome Line Interior" but haven't taken delivery yet. Everywhere I've looked both on-line and in the brochure says that both the front and rear cupholders should have chrome trim, yet when I looked again at the showroom models yesterday, they did not have it. Some had just the plain black cupholders in those three locations, some had a chrome ring around just the rear center one (like the fronts), while others (with the factory center armrest) had a dull silver ring around only the rear center cupholder (matching the trim on the armrest). The MA's I spoke with didn't know for sure; ASK MINI said that if on-line/brochure info. states that it comes with chrome trim, then it should have it and to "take it up with your dealer to get it for you". Don't know how that will work out; seems a little vague to me. I have a feeling everyone will be pointing the finger at someone else. Please let us know if you pursue it.

I'll ask the dealer at my first service, but it's nothing that really concerns me that much. If MINI has a trim ring that fits the rear side cupholders, then the dealer should install them at no charge, as the "build" notes clearly indicate that all cupholders get the trim.

I checked the glossy Clubman model brochure from the dealer, which shows an interior with the chromeline trim. If you look carefully, you can see that the rear cupholders have no trim, so this is the way they come.

I noticed that, but couldn't tell for sure from the picture whether those front speaker trim rings were chrome or not (which would obviously indicate the chrome line interior). If they are, then you're right, yet the words don't match the picture. Not a big deal, but I think the rears should be chrome like the others.

If you go to the "configurator" on MINIUSA.cm it says the interior chrome option has it on the rear cupholder. What it doesn't say is how may rear cup holders have trim rings
